A smooth composition of extrusion and transparency produced an assemblage forming a path which rises from the earth towards the sky.
The form mirrors the topography of the site by elevating different functions to different heights. The result is a gradient of privacy throughout with the most public space at the bottom and the most exclusive space at the top.
Designed with comfort in mind, this piece of furniture can be used in two positions: for reading or laptops. The seamlessly folded timber with rounded corners creates a welcoming appearance.
Developed for the requirement of a pedestrian crossing over the very busy section of Punt Road in Cremorne, this structure spans the entire road to provide a public space that looks onto the neighbouring sportsground and a multi-level car park.
A secret is best hidden when it is exposed, for those who are the keenest could uncover. Nevertheless, one is not a secret if it is not known to be hidden.
The spacious experience is achieved in a tiny house thanks to the central courtyard through which every part of the house is naturally lit up.
